Organise your articles with labels — by hand or automatically.
Tags are labels you add to articles (for example recipes, work, to-read) so you can find them again quickly.
Add or remove tags by hand
1. Open an article.
2. Click Add tags, type a tag and confirm. Add as many as you like.
3. To remove one, click the small cross on the tag.
Browse everything under a tag from the Tags menu (or press g then t).
Tag articles automatically with rules
Tagging rules add tags for you whenever a new article is saved.
1. Go to Config, then Tagging rules.
2. Write a rule and the tags it should apply.
3. Save.
Example: the rule readingTime <= 3 with the tag quick automatically tags every short article as quick, so you can find a quick read at a glance. You can build rules on things like reading time, domain name, title or language.
Good to know
- Rules only apply to articles saved after the rule is created.
